Hangin at the mall
The fam went the mall yesterday for some retail therapy. Daddy wanted to show Dillon how to shop the stores. :o) Here we are at the food court...Fussy...Fed...Food coma. Isn't that third picture just the best?? Uhh, we honestly do change Dillon's clothes. I know it looks like her hoody from Auntie Renee is getting a lot of mileage but it just happens to be the cutest that fits her. Heehee! Her onesie is for sure fresh!

1 Month!
Dillon turned 1 month old today! In Chinese culture this is a very important day...usually the family hosts a huge banquet and shows the baby to all their extended friends. Since we're stuck in Nashville away from our families, we decided to keep it low key. We promise to throw a rager for her when she turns 1.
Crazy how fast a month can fly by when you have a newborn. Everyday is a new adventure for us...Dillon is constantly keeping us on our toes and teaching us new things. check it out..
Belinda has mastered breast feeding while walking. This is no easy feat!

Hope
Hi, we all know Dillon has an adorable cousin on her father's side, Naomi, because she has her own blog. (See link to the side).
Well, Dillon also has a cousin on her mom's side, Hope. Hope is four years old. Sadly, she doesn't have a blog so I will have to blog for her because I want my friends to share in the funny stories that my sister, Anita, shares with me.
The other night, Hope had gone into her parents' room to coax one of them to go into her room to sleep with her. Howard was the one who went this particular night. And instead of sleeping with her all night, he had gone in, laid down and slept with her until she fell back asleep and then made his way back to their room. Shortly afterward, Hope marched right back into their bedroom (this is at 2am) and says, "Daddy, if you say you are going to sleep with me, then you should sleep with me all night."
This! From a four year old! Can you believe it? This girl is ridiculously smart! And she is fluent in both Mandarin and English! I can't wait for Hope to meet Dillon...and can't wait to see what kind of antics the two of them get into when Dillon gets older. Hehehe!!!

Bath time
Weekend!
Auntie Miki came to visit Dillon this weekend! We had such a fun time. Dillon has been staying wake longer (or maybe that's just because there was so much going on) and the weather was nice so we got to walk Dillon up to Bongo Java and show Miki our local coffee joint.
Our friends, Mary and Walker, who live behind us on the next street up also had a Mexican food dinner party that we all went to. Dillon was great. Daddy spent a good portion of his time swinging Dillon in her car seat. That lulls her to sleep.

Thursday's Baby
Our hospital and the local NBC affiliate broadcast on the news the first baby that is born every Thursday. They call is Thursday's Baby. Dillon happened to be the first baby born on Thursday so she was on the news that evening. Not a bad way to come into the world.
